ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: “….to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, in not completing the proceedings in respect of the irregularities found by the 5th respondent in the Fair Price Shop No.1 Eguvagottiveedu Village, Galiveedu Mandal, YSR Kadapa District, of the 6th respondent, by respondents 3 to 5, as arbitrary, biased, illegal and consequently to direct the respondent to initiate the proceedings on the report of the 5th respondent on the fraud and pilferage and black marketing of commodities done by the 6th respondent and to take appropriate action in accordance with law and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.”
On 19.09.2014, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, the case was adjourned. Even today, when the case is called, the petitioner is not represented by anyone. Hence, it is reasonable to presume that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing his cause in the writ petition.
The writ petition is, therefore, dismissed for non-prosecution.
As a sequel to the dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.33944 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
