THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the respondent in not taking a decision on the application for renewal of the permit submitted by him.
2. The petitioner is claiming to be a Stage Carriage Operator on inter State route from Bengaluru to Chittoor operating four singles for each day. It is contended that the petitioner is a saved operator under the scheme of Karnataka-Andhra Pradesh.
3. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned HCGP and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the considered opinion that the ends of justice would be subserved in directing the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner for renewal of permit and take a decision in accordance with law in an expedite manner, in any event not later than twelve weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order and is ordered accordingly.
With the above observations and directions this writ petition stands disposed of.
