JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider and dispose his appeal dated 01.08.2016 with in a time frame.
2. Mr.R.Y.George Williams, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has filed the appeal before the first respondent as early as on 01.08.2016, the first respondent has not disposed of the same yet.

3. Mr.Era Premnath, the learned Government Advocate, taking notice for the respondents submitted that the first respondent may be directed to dispose of the petitioner's appeal, within a time frame, in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the first respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner on 01.08.2016, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
