Public Prosecutor ORDER The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to complete the investigation and file a charge sheet in Crime No.546 of 2015 dated 17.11.2015 against the accused.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that as against one Radhakrishnan and four others, a complaint was filed by the petitioner before the respondents 1 and 3 on 15.10.2014 and the same was received by the third respondent vide CSR No.218 of 2014. Thereafter, as per the order of this Court dated 09.04.2015 passed in Crl.OP No.9050 of 2015, the said complaint was registered as FIR in Cr.No.546 of 2015 on 17.11.2015 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 465, 468, 471 and 420 IPC. However, till date, charge sheet was not filed. Hence, the present petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice for the respondents.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the third respondent to complete the investigation of the case in Crime No.546 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
