Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The petitioner has filed the present writ petition alleging that though he filed two applications dated 7.5.2012 and 27.2.2013 seeking renewal of his arms licence, the respondents have not considered and passed orders on the said applications.
Counter-affidavit is filed by second respondent stating that the petitioner’s arms licence had already expired by 18.5.2012 and his request for its renewal was considered and rejected by the Government under memo dated 14.11.2014, a copy of the said memo is also appended to the counter-affidavit.
In view of that, therefore, the grievance of the petitioner does not survive in this writ petition which is accordingly dismissed, along with miscellaneous applications, if any. No order as to costs.
