Mr.S.Navaneethen, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey, identify and measure the lands in respect of the S.Nos.23/5 measuring 0.10 cents, 25/12 measuring 0.3 ¾ cents as per the boundaries mentioned in the Settlement Deed dated 17.03.1987.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a representation on 03.09.2017 for surveying the land. However, the respondents have not passed any order so far.

Mr.S.Navaneethen, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2017 for surveying the land and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.09.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
