O R D E R None for the petitioner.
Sri. Vijay Kumar A.Patil, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondents No.1 to 6.
2. In this petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner inter alia has assailed the validity of the order dated 13.03.2009 passed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, whereby the name of the petitioner was ordered to be entered in the rowdy sheet.
3. It is evident from the records that the writ petition is pending before this Court since 2013 and more than five years have elapsed since then. In the facts situation of the case, after hearing the learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to submit a representation with regard to deletion of his name from the rowdy sheet within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today and the respondent No.2 is directed to decide the representation submitted by the petitioner by a speaking order in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of such a representation. Office is directed to transmit a copy of this order to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
