The petitioner has approached this Court on account of inaction on a complaint made by him to rectify the mistakes occurred in village records during resurvey. According to the petitioners on account of the mistake crept in the village records the property belonged the petitioner has been recorded as the property of Irrigation Department. It appears that the Tahsildar has conducted an enquiry and petitioners have been issued with Ext.P4 notice. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Senior Government Pleader.
3. In view of the above, Additional Tahsildar, Alathur shall finalise the proceedings based on Ext.P4 within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
