The matter was before the learned Single Judge and then His Lordship has been pleased to observe that the relief sought in the Writ Petition is in the nature of public interest. So, it was placed before the Hon’ble the Chief Justice for appropriate orders as to posting of the matter and that is how, the matter is listed before this Court. The writ petitioner has asked for the relief in the nature of declaration that the action of the first respondent in issuing G.O.Rt.No.1155 dated 20.11.2013 revising administrative sanction orders of widening and strengthening of Manthani Oded Road from 4 km to 14/2 in Karimnagar District issued in favour of the seventh respondent subsisting contractor of the original road work in question entrusted to the petitioner KM9 to 14/2 originally, without calling for fresh tenders contrary to the guidelines of the Government of Andhra Pradesh is illegal and opposed to Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India.
Thus, it appears, it is not a public interest. It is private interest litigation as the contract was given to the writ petitioner.
We accordingly dismiss the Writ Petition. Moreover, by this time, widening works must have been completed. No costs.
Consequently, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
