Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondent to survey the land of the petitioner with the 3rd respondent police protection and issue a separate patta to the petitioner for the land situated in S.No.110/2 of Perumugai Village to the extent of 10 cents (4360 Sq.Ft).

2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondent to survey the land of the petitioner with the 3rd respondent police protection and issue a separate patta to the petitioner for the land situated in S.No.110/2 of Perumugai Village measuring an extent of 10 cents (4360 Sq.Ft).

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 19.09.2016, to survey the petitioner's land, the respondents 1 and 2 have not passed any order so far. However, the learned counsel submitted that the petitioner had paid the necessary charges for demarcation of the land before the second respondent.
5. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate, submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to demarcate the petitioner's land in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
6. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.09.2016 and for demarcating the petitioner's land and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of . No costs.
