JUDGMENT / ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed against the non-compliance of the order and direction issued by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.4623 of 2016, dated 02.03.2016.

2. Mr.R.Rajarathinam, learned Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent filed a final report in Crime No.443 of 2015, as a mistake of fact. The learned Public Prosecutor further submitted that since the defacto complainant was not available, the closure report was affixed on his door.
3. Since the closure report was served on the defacto complainant by affixture, the respondent/Police is directed to serve closure report to the defacto complainant or his counsel. Recording the said submission the contempt petition is closed, giving liberty to the petitioner / defacto complainant to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
