JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to call the petitioner for Medical Test and Original Certificate Verification to be held on 16.09.2017 and 17.09.2017 and in the upcoming week for common recruitment to the posts of Grade-II Police Constables (M&W& Third Gender), Grade-II Jail Warders (M&W) and Firemen for the year 2017 in the category of Schedule Caste-Arunthathiyar Community (SC-A) and appoint him if he is eligible in the posts of Grade-II Police Constable or Grade-II Jail Warder or Firemen within the time period stipulated.
2.Heard Mr.S.Rajasekar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.K.Baskara Pandian learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
3.This court on 21.09.2017, 09.10.2017 and 30.10.2017, had passed the following orders:-
20.11.2017:-
?The Petitioner belongs to Scheduled Caste(Aruntathiyar). But he has shaded the irrelevant circle meant for Scheduled Caste instead of Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyar). However, in the sub division, he has correctly mentioned the code as '012', which is meant for SC(A). Therefore, the respondents can consider his case on humanitarian consideration. Post the matter on 05.10.2017.?
09.10.2017:-
?The learned counsel for the petitioner brings to the notice of this Court, before filing this Writ Petition, the petitioner has made a representation on 13.09.2017 to the respondent and it is not yet been disposed by the respondent.
2.Hence, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.09.2017 on merits and in accordance with law and pass a reasoned order on or before 23.10.2017 and communicate the same to the petitioner.
3.Post on 30.10.2017 for reporting compliance of the above said order.?
30.10.2017:-
?The learned Additional Advocate General Appearing for the respondent submits that in pursuance of the earlier order dated 09.10.2017 passed by this Court, the matter is under process and the same would be concluded within a week.
Post on 15.11.2017 for reporting compliance.?
4.For compliance of the order of this Court passed on 09.10.2017 time was extended during the hearing on 30.10.2017 till 15.11.2017.
5.In compliance of the aforesaid order of this Court, a Status Report dated 14.11.2017 has been filed on behalf of the respondent stating as follows:-
?It is submitted that in compliance of this Court order dated 30.10.2017, the petitioner Thiru.M.Venkatramanan's case to has been considered by TNUSRB for his inclusion in the provisional selection list and for further course of selection process (I.e.) medical examination and police verification which are to be conducted by the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai. In this regard candidate/applicant will be informed within a short span of time.?
6.Recording the same and as there is nothing further that requires adjudication in the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
