JUDGMENT / ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention, dated 04.03.2017 in M.H.S.Confdl.No.32/2017, detaining her husband as "Sand Offender", as contemplated under Section 2(gg) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.1787 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 17.04.2017, and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, the petition is dismissed.
