… RESPONDENTS THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 & 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA, PRAYING TO DIRECT THE RESPONDENTS 4 TO 7 TO CONCLUDE THE INVESTIGATION IN CRIME NO.21/2017 REGISTERED AGAINST THE ACCUSED MENTIONED THEREIN FOR THE OFFENCES UNDER SECTION 498A, 201, 302 R/W SECTION 34 OF INDIAN PENAL CODE OF KAGINELE POLICE, BYADAGI CIRCLE, HAVERI DISTRICT AND TO FILE FINAL REPORT TO THE JURISDICTIONAL POLICE AT THE EARLIEST AND ETC.
THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER In this petition, the petitioner is seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent Nos.4 to 7 conclude the investigation in Crime No.21/2017 registered against the accused mentioned therein for the offences under Section 498A, 201, 302 r/w Section 34 of Indian Penal Code of Kaginele Police, Byadagi Circle, Haveri District and to file final report to the jurisdiction police at the earliest.
2. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner that in case a representation is made with regard to the grievance raised in the petition to the competent authority, the same shall be decided by the competent authority within a period of four months from the date of receipt of such a representation. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
