Heard Sri R. P. Tiwari, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The writ petition has been filed for issuing a writ of mandamus directing the respondents not to harass and torture the petitioners in any illegal manner.
From the facts stated in the writ petition as well as in the representation dated 3.6.2019, it appears that the grievance of the petitioner was against Arif Khan- respondent No. 5 as well as the wife of Arif Khan- respondent No. 4.
Thus, the representation discloses some domestic violence against the son and daughter-in-law.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to file a proper application for protection before the Magistrate concerned under the provisions of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. In case any such application is filed within ten days, the Magistrate concerned shall pass suitable order within two weeks thereafter.
