JUDGMENT / ORDER

By the impugned order dated 20.01.2017 in C.M.P.No.37 of 2017 in Crime No.551 of 2017, the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem, granted bail to the petitioners on condition that they shall deposit a sum of Rs.1,300/- each to the credit of Crime No.551 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police, before the Judicial Magistrate-II, Sankari and on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate-II, Sankari and the petitioners shall stay at Perambalur and report and sign before the Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur daily twice at 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m., until further orders and on further condition that they shall make themselves available for interrogation as and when required by the investigation officer. Now the present petition has been filed to issue a direction to modify the conditions imposed by the Trial Judge.
2. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, took notice for the respondent and submitted that the petitioners are complying with the conditions imposed by the Trial Court, regularly.
3. Heard both the sides.
4. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem, in the order made in C.M.P.No.37 of 2017 in Crime No.551 of 2016 dated 20.01.2017, in respect of stay at Perambalur and report and sign before the Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur daily twice at 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m., until further orders, alone is modified to the effect that the petitioners shall report and sign before the Judicial Magistrate, Perambalur once in a week at 10.00 a.m., for a period of one month and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation by the investigation officer. Rest of the conditions imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem, shall remain unaltered.
5. This petition is ordered accordingly.
