JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 29.04.2017 and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to issue Patta in his favour, within a time frame.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 29.04.2017, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioners' representation dated 29.04.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 29.04.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
