The petitioner's son was an employee of respondents 1 and 2. As he died during the course of his employment and in pursuant to the refusal of respondent 1 and 2 in making the adequate compensation, the petitioner has approached the third respondent. An award was passed by the third respondent in W.C.No.484 of 2014 dated 11.03.2015. In pursuant to the same, the third respondent wrote a letter to the fourth respondent to initiate revenue recovery proceedings as the order passed by the third respondent has not been complied with by respondents 1 and 2. The fourth respondent, in turn, sent a letter to the fifth respondent on 20.08.2015 to take appropriate steps to recover the amount payable to the petitioner under the Revenue Recovery Act from respondents 1 and 2. The petitioner has also made a representation to the fourth respondent on 28.09.2015. Though more than one year has elapsed, the amount due to the petitioner has not been recovered by respondents 4 and 5 and hence, the present writ petition.

Considering the above, a direction is issued to the fifth respondent to conclude the revenue recovery proceedings in pursuant to the letter of the fourth respondent dated 20.08.2015 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court is not issuing any notice to respondents 1 and 2 as they have not challenged the award of the third respondent, which has become final and conclusive against them and thus, in law they are bound to satisfy it.
3.The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
