It is brought to our notice, by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that, based upon the opinion rendered by the Advisory Board, the State Government has passed orders, vide G.O.Rt.No.6444 of Home Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 22.12.2016, revoking the detention order. Hence, no orders are needed to be passed in this case. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. The copy of the aforesaid Government Order, dated 22.12.2016 is retained on file.
