1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner claims to have filed an application for issue of fire arm license under family heirloom category. The petitioner's application dated 19.06.2018 for grant of fire-arm license is stated to be pending before the District Collector Prayagraj, District-Prayagraj (respondent no. 2).
3. Without entering the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with the direction to the District Collector Prayagraj, District-Prayagraj (respondent no. 2) to decide the aforesaid application, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
