2 THIS CRIMINAL PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER After hearing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition. However, he seeks for a direction to the Trial Court to expedite the trial within a specified period. Considering the incarceration of the petitioner from 18.02.2019, it is just and necessary to direct the Trial Court to dispose of the main matter itself preferably within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if the petitioner/accused counsel co-operate with the Court.
Accordingly, petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
