Heard learned counsel for the applicant and Sri Pranjal Mehrotra, learned counsel for the opposite party.
The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for wilful disobedience of the order dated 08.01.2021 passed in Writ Petition No. 13720 of 2020 (Smt Munni Devi Vs. State of U.P. & others).
Today when the matter is taken up, Sri Pranjal Mehrotra, learned counsel for the opposite party submitted that entire order of the writ court has been complied with except part of the gratuity. He gave undertaking that the gratuity will be paid within four weeks from today.
In this view of the matter and undertaking given by Sri Pranjal Mehrotra, learned counsel for the opposite party, this court is of the opinion that the order of the writ court has been complied with in its letter and spirit and no further order is required to be passed in the matter.
Accordingly, the present contempt application is dismissed.
