Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State respondent. Perused the record.
By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2-Tehsildar Bansi, District Siddharth Nagar to decide the Case No. 430 of 1994 (Smt. Munnati Vs. Mazahar Ali), under Section 34/201 of U.P. Land Revenue Act.
It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner filed an application before the Tehsildar, Bansi which was registered as Case No.430 of 1994 for mutating her name in the revenue records on the basis of gift deed dated 27.09.1994 executed by the respondent no.3, which has not yet been decided till date.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending and an appropriate direction may be issued to respondent no.2 to consider the grievance of the petitioner.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2-Tehsildar, Bansi, District Siddharth Nagar to decide the Case No.430 of 1994 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of computerized copy of this order.
The concerned Court/Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of such computerized copy of the order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall act accordingly without waiting for submission of the certified copy of this order.
With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
