The appellant sustained injuries in an accident involving a motorcycle. It had been insured with the respondent. The learned Tribunal found that the accident was due to the negligence of the rider of the vehicle and awarded the appellant Rs.39,500/- as compensation. The respondent was directed to pay the amount. The appellant is not satisfied with the compensation. 2. Heard.
3. The only dispute is with regard to the amount awarded under the head pain and sufferings. The amount awarded by the Tribunal is Rs.20,000/-. In the nature of the case it appears to be more than reasonable. The appellant was aged 14 years. I do not find any merit in this appeal.
In the result, this appeal is dismissed.
