The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No.99 of 2009 expeditiously. The petitioner is defendant in the said suit and claims to have filed a counter claim also.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that written statement to the counter claim has not been filed by the plaintiff so far.
Having regard to the fact that the proceedings are pending since the year 2009, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to make serious endeavour to conclude the proceedings expeditiously, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments to the parties.
