This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for a mandamus to be issued to the respondents to provide essential commodities to the petitioner.
It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that respondent No. 5, Smt. Mamta Devi is the fair price shop licensee of Nagar Panchayat Umari, district Jalaun, but she has some personal grudge with the petitioner and does not supply the essential commodities to him. The petitioner has written several letters to the District Magistrate, District Supply Officer and the Commissioner, Jhansi Division Jhansi regarding conduct of respondent No. 5, but all such matters have gone in vein. The last letter was written on 23.02.2018 to take action agianst the respondent No. 5.
This writ petition is disposed of without entering into the merits of the controversy, with a direction to the District Supply Officer, Jalaun to look into the matter as the petitioner may be a valid ration card holder of Nagar Panchayat, Umari, Jalaun and under the National Food Security Act, the matter may be referred to the Grievance Redressal Officer, who shall look into the complaint made by the petitioner and after providing opportunity to respondent No. 5 pass an appropriate orders thereon within a period of two weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
