(Per : HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE RAVI R.TRIPATHI) The present application is filed by daughter of the convict praying for temporary bail for a period of 30 days so as to undertake post marriage rituals.
2. The learned APP invited attention of the Court to the Jail remarks. The convict is sentenced to suffer 10 years of imprisonment with fine of Rs.1 lac, in default to suffer imprisonment for 1 year for the offence under sections 8(C), 20(B) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act in Sessions Case No.246 of 2006, vide judgement and order dated 3rd August 2011 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court No.1, Ahmedabad. As on 16th July 2012, the convict has undergone 6 years, and 6 months in Jail. The convict has enjoyed temporary bail once during March 2012 on the occasion of his daughter's marriage.
3. No case is made out for grant of temporary bail. Hence the application is rejected.
