The petitioner has sought for the following relief:
"To issue a writ, order or direction including a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding to expedite the case no.608 of 2019 (Mumtaj and others Vs. Ram Avadh and others) under Section 48 of the U.P.C.H. Act 1953 is being pending before teh Deputy Director of Consolidation, District-Azamgarh."
Heard Sri Bhanu Pratap Pal, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State - respondents No.1 and 2.
The matter was instituted in the year 2019. At this stage no reason has been shown for deciding the case on priority and in preference over other matters pending before the learned trial court.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
