It is represented by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that pending disposal of the Writ Petition, the land in respect of which police protection sought for was acquired by the Government for public purpose and hence the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
