Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that while admitting the Criminal Appeal No. 66 of 2011 and granting stay vide order dated 31.12.2011, the appellate court has imposed certain onerous conditions.

However, learned advocate for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the petitioner may be able to deposit reasonable sum of amount on the returnable date.

In view of the above, issue notice returnable on 24th January, 2012.

In the meanwhile, ad-interim relief in terms of para 17(C) is granted.

Direct service is permitted.
