JUDGMENT / ORDER

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents particularly, the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members to live peacefully without due process of law to secure the ends of justice.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, on instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that with regard to Crime No.1624 of 2016, petitioner's presence is required before the Deputy Commissioner (South), Chennai, for enquiry.
3. In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Deputy Commissioner (South), Chennai, on 12.04.2017 at 10.30a.m. for enquiry, in Crime No.1624 of 2016, on which date, the enquiry should be completed.
4. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
