Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition, reads thus:
"a) That by a suitable writ, order or direction issued in nature of certiorari the Hon'ble Court be pleased to quash the First Information Report, lodged by the respondent no. 4 against the petitioner on 13.07.2016 under Sections 376-
B, 377, 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, read with Section 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, with Police Station-Karari, District Kaushambi, which has been registered as Case Crime No. 222 of 2016, State of Uttar Pradesh Versus Mukesh (Annexure "1" to this writ petition). "
Mr. Syed Ali Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that a Charge Sheet bearing no. 01 of 2017 dated 06.07.2017 has already been filed, and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous. It is, however, open to the petitioner to take appropriate remedy, if he so desires and is advised, for appropriate relief.
