Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The facts of the present case are more or less identical to those of Civil Misc. Writ Petition No. 36992 of 2010 (Sanjay Kumar versus State of U.P. & others) and other connected writ petitions, which have been decided on 28th June, 2010.
In view of the aforesaid, the present writ petition is also disposed of in terms of the judgment and order passed in Civil Misc. Writ Petition No. 36992 of 2010 referred to above, by providing that the petitioner may make a representation, ventilating all his grievances, with reference to the cut off marks declared on 19th May, 2010 as well as on any other ground for questioning his non-selection, before the U.P. Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow, within two weeks from today, along with a certified copy of this order. On such representation being made, the Head of Department of the Board shall take appropriate decision on the representation so made by means of a reasoned speaking order, after examining the records pertaining to the petitioner, preferalby within four weeks from the date the representation is made.
