Heard Shri Rahul Kumar Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri Gyanendra Srivastava, learned counsel for respondent nos. 2 & 3 and learned Standing Counsel for the State - respondent no. 1.
The grievance of the petitioner is that his appeal under section 28-A(4) of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning & Development Act, 1973 is pending adjudication before the Chairman, Aligarh Development Authority, Aligarh since January, 2020, which has not been disposed of till date.
Shri Srivastava and learned Standing Counsel assure that the appeal would be decided as expeditiously as possible.
This writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Chairman, Aligarh Development Authority, Aligarh to decide pending appeal by a reasoned speaking order, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within two months from the date of production of copy of this order, in accordance with law.
