In furtherance of this Court's order dated 07.01.2010 both the parties i.e. husband and wife are present and they verify to have reached to a compromise. Earlier the State case under Sections 498-A, 323, 506 IPC and 3/4 D.P. Act has been quashed on the basis of the said compromise in the light of the law laid down in B.S.Joshi's case reported in (2008)4SCC 675. The present one happens to be a complaint case between the same parties. Therefore, to ensure substantial justice by invoking inhereint powers of this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C. the proceedings of Complaint Case No. 2154 of 2002 (Anita Jain Vs. Mukesh Chandra Jain) under Sections 420, 406 IPC, Police Station Thakurganj, district Lucknow, pending in the court of ACJM (CBI) (AP), Lucknow, are hereby quashed.
The petition stands disposed of finally.
