Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.196/2014 of Vazhakkad Police Station, Malappuram District. The offences alleged against him are punishable under Secs.498A and 406 of IPC. First respondent is the de facto complainant. She is represented in this Court by her counsel. Affidavit has been filed by the first respondent/de- facto complainant stating that the matter has been settled and she does not intend to proceed further in the matter.
In the light of the settlement so arrived at this Crl.M.C. is allowed. Further proceedings against this petitioner in Crime No.196/2014 of Vazhakkad Police Station, Malappuram District is quashed.
