JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioners are accused in Crime No.38/2012 of Badiadka Police Station pending in C.C.No.2767/2012 on the file of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-I, Kasaragod . Offences alleged against the petitioners are punishable under sections 143,147,341,321 r/w section 149 IPC. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the first respondent, who is the defacto complainant.
3. First respondent filed an affidavit and submitted that the disputes between the petitioners and herself have been settled through a mediation and she does not intend to prosecute the matter further. Considering the nature of allegations and the relationship between the parties, I find that prolongation of the case will not be for the benefit of the parties. Hence, Annexure-A1 final report in Crime No.38/2012 of Badiadka Police Station pending in C.C.No.2767/2012 of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-I, Kasaragod is hereby quashed.
