The petitioners submitted applications for regularization of the building in which they conduct the ice plant. Ext.P4 is the application for regularization and Ext.P5 is the application for renewal of licence. The petitioners submit that they are conducting the ice plant in the building in question ever since they purchased the building from the earlier owner, as is evident from Ext.P1. It is also submitted that the earlier owner was also conducting the ice plant in the building. The petitioners further submit that they have changed the roof of the ice plant and he has not obtained any permission before making the change on the roof and for the grant of permission, he has made this application as Ext.P4 for regularization of the building. It is further submitted that the Corporation has not taken the application for renewal of licence on account of changes in the building. 2. Having adverted to the facts and circumstances, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider and W.P.(C) No.12258 of 2014 2 pass orders on Exts.P4 and P5 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The second respondent shall not take any coercive steps against the petitioners till the disposal of Exts.P4 and P5 in accordance with law.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
