This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent no. 2, District Magistrate, Azamgarh to take appropriate action to conduct and conclude the inquiry against respondent no. 6 i.e. Pradhan of the Gram Panchayat, Juswan, Block Martinganj, District Azamgarh on the complaint dated 7.9.2020 under Rule 3 of UP Panchayat Raj (Removal of Pradhan, Up Pradhan and Members) Enquiry Rules, 1997 in regard to financial illegalities and irregularities committed by respondent no. 6.
This prayer is not opposed by the learned Standing counsel.
In view of such facts, the writ petition can be disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 2 to take appropriate action to conduct and conclude the inquiry against respondent no. 6 i.e. Pradhan of the Gram Panchayat, Juswan, Block Martinganj, District Azamgarh on the complaint dated 7.9.2020 under Rule 3 of UP Panchayat Raj (Removal of Pradhan, Up Pradhan and Members) Enquiry Rules, 1997 in regard to financial illegalities and irregularities committed by respondent no. 6. if possible, within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of computer generated copy of the order being passed today on PDF form strictly in accordance with law.
In above terms, the writ petition is disposed of.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
