ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus to declare proceedings in Rc.No.F6/1654/2013, dated 10-10-2014 issued by respondent No.3 whereby he has directed respondent Nos.4 and 5 to shift paddy from the rice millers who are lagging behind, as illegal and arbitrary.
On the direction given by this Court, Mr. M. Jagga Rao, the Managing Partner of petitioner No.1 filed an affidavit on behalf petitioner No.1 and also petitioner No.2 which is stated to be the sister concern of petitioner No.1, wherein he has undertaken that he will deliver the entire quantity of custom milled rice to the Food Corporation of India within 15 days.
Sri A. Prabhakar Rao, learned Counsel for the petitioners, submitted that in due deference to the opinion of this Court the said undertaking affidavit is filed and that due to acute power shortages, the petitioners may be granted a week’s more time from today for delivery of the entire custom milled rice and that the petitioners will not seek any extension of time.
Considering the undertaking given on behalf of the petitioners and the request made by their counsel, the petitioners are permitted to deliver the custom milled rice in full within three weeks from today, failing which the impugned order will automatically stand revived without any further extension.
Subject to the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel to the disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.39404 of 2014 is disposed of as infructuous.
