JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent/contemnor who would submit that in compliance of the order passed by this Court, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thiruvallur, vide proceedings in Na.Ka.216/2015/A5 dated 03.02.2017 has rejected the request made by the petitioner indicating that she has to approach the competent civil forum and she was also given liberty to approach the District Revenue Officer, by way of appeal within 30 days from the receipt of the said order. It is the further submission of the learned Special Government Pleader that an order was passed on 25.04.2017 by the Tahsildar, Poonamallee and the said order will be communicated to the petitioner within a period of one week from today. The said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, is placed on record and the said official is directed to communicate the said order within a period of one week from today to the petitioner. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, she is at liberty to workout her further remedy in accordance with law before a competent forum.
2. This Contempt Petition is closed with the above observations.
