The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct respondents 1 and 2, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.12.2016, seeking to re-fix his pension and retirement benefits and to send proposal to the 3rd respondent as per the revised scale of pay in G.O.MS.No.325 dated 22.07.2013 and grant the retirement benefits and pension within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2.In view of the limited relief sought for, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.12.2016, seeking to re-fix his pension and retirement benefits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, if there are no legal impediments, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
