JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to arrange and issue a Sub- Division Patta for her land measuring an extent of 21.273 cents in S.No.223, Chettikuppam Village, coming under Marakkanam Sub-Registration District (Tindivanam Registration District), Marakkanam Taluk (New S.No.92/3A- Old S.No.167/1, 168/4), within a time frame.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 02.02.2017, the respondent has not considered the same and issued the sub-division patta so far.
3. Mr.Era. Premnath, learned Government Advocate, taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders, in accordance with law, within a time frame.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.02.2017 and pass orders for the issuance of sub division patta, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
