~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. 2. Petitioner is the accused in Crime No.127/2014 of Kasaragod Excise Range registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(1) and (2) of the Abkari Act.
3. The allegation against the petitioner is that on 22.10.2014 at 8.30 p.m., he was found engaged in selling IMFL, and a quantity of 4.125 litres of IMFL has been seized from his possession. The petitioner has been in custody for the period from 22.10.2014 onwards.
4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.
5. The learned Public Prosecutor has reported that the petitioner is involved in three other Abkari cases including one for possession and transport of spirit.

Considering the series of similar criminal antecedents on the part of the petitioner, I am of the view that the petitioner is not entitled to be enlarged on bail.
In the result, this Bail Application is dismissed.
