The prayer in the writ petition is for a writ of Certiorari, calling for the records pertaining to the order of the respondent made in his proceedings C.No.A2/440/2010 ? R.O.14/2010 dated 20.01.2010 and quash the same.

3.By the impugned order, the petitioner was placed under suspension as enquiry on grave charges against the petitioner was contemplated.
4.Today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would produce the file through which he has submitted that subsequently by order dated 20.03.2010, the said order of suspension has been revoked with immediate effect. It is also the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader that subsequently his suspension period was also regularised and the petitioner was given further promotion as Assistant Commissioner.
5.In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent that the impugned order of suspension since has been revoked subsequently by the order of the respondent dated 20.03.2010 and the said period of suspension from 20.01.2010 to 20.03.2010 also has been regularised and the petitioner has been further promoted and in fact he was given further promotion as Assistant Commissioner of Police, there can be no further grievance for the petitioner and nothing would survive to probe into the matter as has been claimed herein by way of the present writ petition as to whether the impugned order of suspension is sustainable one or not.
6.In view of the said developments, this Writ Petition is disposed of as no further order is required to be passed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
