This Criminal Petition is filed to quash proceedings in CC.No. 1427 of 2004 on the file of II-Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, for contravention of Section 18 (a) (i) read with Section 17 (B) (e) and Section 18-A, 22 (1) (cca) punishable under section 27 (c), 28, 22 (3) of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.
2. On 04/04/2014 none appeared for the petitioners and the matter is directed to be listed under the caption “for dismissal”. Today when the matter is listed under the caption of dismissal, Sri G.Sundaresan, representing Advocate for Petitioners submitted that the matter has become infructuous.
3. In view of the representation of Advocate for Petitioners, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
