The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition relates to encroachment over Plot Nos. 65 and 120, which the petitioner alleges to be pond, but according to the petitioners has been erroneously and fraudulently recorded in the name of private tenure holders in the revenue records. It also appears from the records annexed with the writ petition that the case regarding the correction of revenue records has already been registered before the Sub-Divisional Officer, Tehsil-Koil, District-Aligarh, i.e., respondent No. 2.
It has been stated in the writ petition that the proceedings registered for correction of the revenue records are being unnecessarily delayed.
The petitioner may file a representation before the Collector, District-Aligarh, who on receipt of the same shall pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of fling the representation and shall also ensure that the proceedings regarding the correction of the revenue records are decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months by the concerned Sub-Divisional Magistrate from the date a copy of this order is produced before him.
With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
