This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in detaining the petitioners in BE 2nd year/1st year /3rd year/4th year as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently, direct the respondents to permit the petitioners to prosecute their studies by permitting them to attend the classes of BE 2nd year/1st year /3rd year/4th year and consequently, direct the respondents to permit the petitioners to appear for the main examinations as well as the supplementary examinations for the back log subjects in the interests of justice.”
At the hearing, it is submitted by Mr.P.Lakshmana Rao, learned Counsel for the petitioners, that the issue raised in this Writ Petition is similar to that raised in W.P.No.39518 of 2014, which was disposed of by this Court, on 24-12-2014, in terms Order, dated 12.12.2014, in Writ Appeal No.1594 of 2014.
In view of the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of in terms of Order, dated 24-12-2014, in W.P.No.39518 of 2014, with the direction that the reasons and directions contained therein shall form part of this order.
As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.49894 of 2014 filed by the petitioner for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
