This petition has been filed for a direction upon the authorities to consider petitioner's representation dated 12.7.2018. Petitioner in his representation has clearly stated that he has not produced his caste certificate, which had been mentioned in his online application form. The certificate issued in the year 2013 and 2018 have been relied upon. Petitioner's contention is that the authorities should have called for original records and verified the caste certificate issued to the petitioner in February, 2016.
Learned Standing Counsel points out that the alleged caste certificate dated 12.2.2016 has not been produced till today by the petitioner.
A Full Bench of this Court in Gaurav Sharma Vs. State of U.P. and Others reported in (FB) 2017 (5) ADJ 494, has been pleased to hold that the OBC certificate has to be issued between 1.4.2015 and the last date of filing of application. The certificate produced in the year 2013 and 2018 would not be relevant in terms of the direction issued in Gaurav Sharma ( supra). It is for the petitioner to produce his OBC certificate, as has been specified by him in his online application form. No direction can be issued to the authorities to consider any certificate other than the one mentioned in the online application form, particularly as such certificate is otherwise not liable to be entertained in terms of Gaurav Sharma ( supra).
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
