Heard learned counsel for the applicant, Sri I.P. Srivastava, the learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.
The present application for grant of anticipatory bail has been filed by the applicant in case crime No.36 of 2019, under Sections 323, 498-A, 354, 504, 506 I.P.C. and Section 3/4 D.P. Act, Police Station Mahila Thana, District- Budaun.
The Court finds itself unable to countenance the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the applicant bearing in mind the seriousness of the allegations which are levelled. It has come on the record during the course of investigation that continuous demand for dowry was made immediately after the wedding took place in March 2019. There is also an allegation where the victim alleges that the applicant was forcing her to satisfy his brother-in-law also. In that view of the matter, the prayer so made is refused.
Consequently, the application is rejected.
